We begin by comparing a client’s requirements with its existing facility and operating conditions by performing an in-depth, on-site analysis of environmental, mechanical, structural, electrical, telecom, and zoning factors. Nova’s engineering, estimating and scheduling teams are engaged to create conceptual designs, project value analyses, and project schedules, providing clients with rapid answers to help with critical business decisions.
Conceptual Design
Our conceptual design process provides understanding of possibilities through our passion for innovation. After visiting a facility, NOVA’s in-house engineering and design teams can immediately begin to develop a conceptual design, incorporating the client’s project goals and design standards. Unlike the traditional facility design process, which involves a significant investment in staff resources and outside professional services, NOVA condenses the exercise into a clear and concise process that quickly addresses the client’s needs. It also confirms design intent and assists with cost assessment for financial analysis and project budgeting.

When Nova focuses on the construction consulting format, those years of mission critical project development allow the developing projects to benefit from the hands on in the trenches learning curve that Nova has achieved.
It is Nova’s strong opinion, that an accurate and reliable determination made by an owner’s representative should be based on actual experience with that type project and not based on a textbook response. The multiple projects that have been completed by Nova throughout the United States and Europe yield to Nova a database of costs, constructability, and potential challenges, which are relayed to the client in business terms allowing the proper financial decisions to be made.
